Obama’s Lowlights (5/3/12)

Trayvon Martin - Alton L. Hayes III of Chicago was charged with a hate crime, told police he was so upset about the Trayvon Martin case in Florida that he beat up a white man this past week. This is what happens when the media incites racial tensions.

Climate Change - Writing for Forbes Magazine, climate change alarmist Steve Zwick calls for skeptics of man-made global warming to be tracked, hunted down and have their homes burned to the ground, yet another shocking illustration of how eco-fascism is rife within the environmentalist lobby.

ObamaCare - In an effort to prevent seniors from finding out how ObamaCare will gut their Medicare Advantage, the Obama administration is redirecting $8.3 billion to keep the program in place until after the 2012 election.

Van Jones - President Obama's former green jobs czar and communist Van Jones is now painting conservatives who believe the EPA is out of control as wanting to kill children for jobs.

War on Women - For $75,800, donors can attend the Obama-backed 18th Annual National Women's Issues Conference in Washington. Now this is a war on women – charging them a huge sum to have their voices heard!

Food Stamps – According to the latest CBO report food stamp spending has gone from 39 billion in 2007 to 82 billion in 2011.

Wasserman-Schultz – The DNC chair claims Romney wants to take away women’s healthcare.

Youth Liberals – In an interview, with some liberal college youths who support wealth distribution, they said they were unwilling to spread their high Grade Point Averages (GPAs) to those in need of a GPA boost claiming “They worked hard for those grades”.

NY Times - In an editorial recently published in the New York Times, editor Arthur Brisbane, calls on his paper to finally vet President Obama for the 2012 election.

Social Security - Those trust funds will now run dry in 2033, according to a report issued by the trustees that oversee the massive retirement and disability program.

Arizona - The Arizona Senate voted today to defund Planned Parenthood by passing the Whole Woman's Health Funding Priority Act of Arizona in an 18-8 vote.

Unions - The Senate Democrats, joined by Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), voted down the GOP-sponsored resolution of disapproval, thereby allowing the NLRB's rule to call for snap elections to stand.

Immigration – The Supreme Court heard arguments on the Arizona immigration (SB 1070) law this past week. They could render a decision in July.

Iran Sanctions – Israel’s Netanyahu on the Iran Sanctions "They're certainly taking a bite out of the Iranian economy, but so far they haven't rolled back the Iranian program or even stopped it by one iota. I mean I hope that changes, but so far I can tell you the centrifuges are spinning. They were spinning before the talks began. Recently with Iran they were spinning during the talks. They're spinning as we speak. So if the sanctions are going to work they better work soon."
