Obama’s Lowlights (3/26/12)

The Bigoted Left – is alive and well. Since the Left continues to demonize Rush’s dumb remarks about Sandra Fluke, Breitbart put together a film on Al Sharpton’s comments on “Chinamen” and “Homos” and Chris Matthews reference that Mitt Romney is from a Mormon “Cult”.

Secret State Dinners - After the dinner honoring Chinese President Hu Jintao last year, the Obama White House ended the practice of listing the name, year and appellation of wines served at such functions. In fact, no dinner information was disclosed for the David Cameron visit this past week. Yes, more transparency. Also, The White House extended state dinner invitations to more than 30 of President Barack Obama's top fundraisers to this event.

Journal of Medical Ethics – Here is a quote from a new article in the journal “What we call ‘after-birth abortion’ (killing a newborn) should be permissible in all the cases where abortion is, including cases where the newborn is not disabled.”

Biden - Speaking to United Auto Workers members in Toledo this past week, Joe Biden sowed some more class-warfare rhetoric, criticizing the GOP candidates as protectors of the "privileged sector" and calling President Obama a man with "steel in his spine".

Obama Budget- According to the CBO the debt held by the U.S. government would go from 67% of GDP this year to 76% in 2022 if President Obama's budget is passed - or, in other words, from $10 trillion this year to almost $19 trillion.

Stephen Chu - Energy Secretary Stephen Chu is walking back a series of comments he made about the Obama Administration not having a goal of lowering gas prices, but of getting Americans off of fossil fuels and onto "alternative" energy.

Lake County Florida - The Lake County Democratic Party in Florida has been flying two "American" flags over its headquarters building, one of them the stars and stripes, the other stripes and Barack.

Student Loans - Students around the country gathered at the U.S. Capitol complex this past week to protest rising student loan interest rates, which are slated to double from 3.4% to 6.8% in July – Remember the government now controls all student loans – not those evil banks.

Afghanistan – We hear about every injustice where innocent Afghans are killed but no media outlets covered the incident when an Afghan soldier shot to death a 22-year-old Marine at an outpost in southwestern Afghanistan last month.
