Obama’s Lowlights (3/22/12)

Afghanistan – Sixteen innocent civilians were killed by U.S. forces in the Kandahar province. President Obama called the alleged slaying of 16 Afghan civilians by a U.S. soldier "absolutely tragic and heartbreaking" and said that he is still "proud generally" of what U.S. troops have achieved in Afghanistan while working under "enormous strain." Really, generally proud, what an insult!

Israel - According to the British Sunday Times sources have said President Obama asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to hold off on bombing Iran's nuclear facilities until after the November 2012 election. After all, it is all about Obama!

DOJ – The Justice Department blocked a new voter ID law in Texas from being implemented.

Bill Ayers – The man responsible for bombing civil buildings during the 70s called Andrew Breitbart a “bomb-thrower of the radical Right”.

Sex Strike - The women’s group “Liberal Ladies Who Lunch” is putting together an unusual event, which it is calling “Access Denied: Sex Strike”. The event is scheduled to take place between April 28 and May 5.

Obama Approval - President Obama's approval rating has hit the lowest level ever in CBS News polling (41%), according to the latest CBS News/New York Times survey. In this poll, the President usually receives well above average results. The decline could be due to gas prices.

Super PAC’s - Three democratic super PAC’s are combining to create ‘Unity 2012’ in an effort to re-elect Barack Obama.

ObamaCare - President Obama's national health care law will cost $1.76 trillion over a decade, according to a new projection released today by the Congressional Budget Office, rather than the $940 billion forecast when it was signed into law according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).

Obama Budget - At $1.2 trillion, the federal deficit will be $93 billion larger than previously expected in fiscal year 2012, due almost entirely to the cost of a payroll tax cut , the Congressional Budget Office projected in its March baseline update.

Joe Biden – Biden criticized GOP middle class policies in front of millionaire liberal elites as they sipped on 10 thousand dollar wine and ate caviar.

Labor Unions - Unions plan to spend at least $400 million this cycle in an effort to keep Obama in the White House.

Stephen Chu - Energy Secretary Stephen Chu is walking back a series of comments he made about the Obama Administration not having a goal of lowering gas prices, but of getting Americans off of fossil fuels and onto "alternative" energy.

Lake County Florida - The Lake County Democratic Party in Florida has been flying two "American" flags over its headquarters building, one of them the stars and stripes, the other stripes and Barack.

Student Loans - Students around the country gathered at the U.S. Capitol complex this past week to protest rising student loan interest rates, which are slated to double from 3.4% to 6.8% in July – Remember the government now controls all student loans – not those evil banks.
