Obama: The Worst 6 Month Stretch in Presidential History (Part II)

During his campaign, Obama pledged to correct the long wait times at VA hospitals. Today, with more than double the money VA wait times are 3 times longer. What’s worse, over 25 VA hospitals nationwide where cooking their books to appear they were meeting wait times to receive bonuses. In probably the worst VA scandal since the Harding years, nearly 1 in 8 veterans were unable to get a single appointment and unfortunately a great number died due to this negligence.

ObamaCare enrollment numbers were not nearly as rosy as the White House may suggest (8 million). As many as 25% of the 8 million people had their insurance policies cancelled due to ObamaCare rules and this therefore forced them to sign up for ObamaCare (Ironic!). Another 30% of the enrollee data is not correct, duplicated, or had people sign up who failed to pay for their policy. This means the true number of enrollment signees is fewer than 4 million people (about 1% of the U.S. population or about 13% of the uninsured). To make matters worse, a much lower than expected number of ObamaCare enrollees are young and healthy when in fact a majority are older and sick. This means insurance rates will spike again this upcoming year to cover for the gross failures in ObamaCare projections.

Obama moved illegally to cancel and postpone portions of the ObamaCare law for political purposes (In particular, the corporate and individual mandate). Now he faces a lawsuit from Congress over these unconstitutional moves.

The White House also batted a perfect 0% in Supreme Court cases. Obama lost more than half of his cases by a majority decision (9-0) including cases on voter rights, recess appointments, eminent domain, first amendment protesting buffer zones, fourth amendment warrantless searches, and government interference in the domain of farming and religion. That is right; Obama is so radical he cannot even earn a single vote from left wing ideologues Ginsberg, Breyer, Sotomayer, or Kagen for over half his cases. ObamaCare also took a blow by losing the Burwell v. Hobby Lobby case (5-4) killing a portion of the contraception mandate. What’s worse, the White House and Liberals are calling this decision “gender bigotry” and they seem more interested in starting a cultural war instead of following the constitution. In another 5-4 decision the Supreme Court finally stood up to the regulatory machine in the Obama White House – the EPA – limiting their power to hand out rules for carbon emissions.

I projected a long time ago that Obama will go down as arguably one of the worst presidents in U.S. history. He has been terrible, but it is hard to believe that he continues to outpace his previous failures and do an even worse job. Obama approval levels are at the lowest of his presidency and candidates refuse to show up for campaign fundraisers he is holding on their behalf. Still, Obama blames others for his misfortune and refuses to accept any accountability or responsibility for his shortcomings, oversights, and mistakes. He acts more like a child than the leader of the free world.

  1. That's quite an amazing summary (both parts), Patrick. What's really scary is that the 40% or so who still think Obama is doing a good job are either ignoramuses or liars, and I'm not sure which is worse.
