Maybe we are becoming paralyzed by over information?PT Bohanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10101195261695989996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6889986006783300070.post-73801961252639384032012-03-14T09:49:44.774-07:002012-03-14T09:49:44.774-07:00Hi Patrick,

I agree, to the best of their ability people should do their own homework to see if what they’re being told is based on the facts. To the extent things can be verified by doing our own math, that’s the best of all. Unfortunately, it’s not always possible, especially when we are bombarded with conflicting information. When that happens it all comes down to who you trust.CWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18093393578438689105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6889986006783300070.post-25614879857641198682012-03-14T09:32:26.736-07:002012-03-14T09:32:26.736-07:00I'm a bit confused. If 2 people retire and the workforce shrinks to 8 people, then 8 out of 8 people will be employed or 100%, in which case unemployment decreases to 0%. That math would seem to support what Rush said. Am I missing something?CWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18093393578438689105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6889986006783300070.post-83776558502680292492012-03-14T08:29:16.941-07:002012-03-14T08:29:16.941-07:00Yes, Dr. Pete, I read your blog and I completely a...Yes, Dr. Pete, I read your blog and I completely agree with your conclusions about unemployment.PT Bohanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10101195261695989996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6889986006783300070.post-6062748293810992822012-03-14T07:52:17.001-07:002012-03-14T07:52:17.001-07:00Indeed, Pat, just as examples, Rush said that Ging...Indeed, Pat, just as examples, Rush said that Gingrich had balanced the budget as Speaker. My more-thorough research, however, of primary data showed that Clinton, Gingrich, and Limbaugh were all wrong, very wrong. Limbaugh also opined that Obama was getting lower reported unemployment rates because the size of America's workforce had lost 2 million jobs.

I analyzed that in a previous post, because one doesn't get a lower result from lowering the denominator on the other side.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
